Software Team Leader

As the Software Development Team Leader you will lead the design, implementation, and deployment of Eyesight in-cabin software solutions.

Successful candidates must have hands-on experience and knowledge in C++ development (C++11), Embedded Systems (e.g. ARM Cortex-A family), development processing, and software design. They must also have experience in managing a team of developers, coordinating development cycles, priority management, and mentoring of junior developers.

What We Need You To Do

  • Lead the embedding of Eyesight’s computer vision software on a variety of embedded platforms.
  • Lead and coordinate development of desktop and embedded software to support the deployment of Eyesight’s solutions.
  • Guide the team with design, development and vehicle test strategies.
  • Conduct and support peer reviews including design doc, code and test cases.
  • Support program and project management activities including planning, tracking and reporting.
  • Foster and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment while driving process improvement and innovative solutions.
  • Identifying and removing obstacles that prevent developers from accomplishing goals.
  • Be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Who We Are Seeking:

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in an automotive or consumer electronics, embedded product development organization.
  • 5+ years of leading development of complex, real time, embedded software in an object-oriented environment.
  • 5+ years of leading a team of developers.
  • 5+ years of C++ experience.

Other Skills Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Automotive SPICE.
  • Experience with automotive Operating-Systems (QNX, Integrity).
  • Continuous integration and configuration management (Jenkins, Git).
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
