eyeSight Mobile Technologies and CogniVue Corporation will jointly unveil SmartVue – the smallest and lowest power smart camera module demonstration and development platform in the market, operated by eyeSight’s innovative Gesture Recognition technology.

The smart camera development module will be presented by both companies at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Association (CES) show to be held in Las Vegas from January 10–13 alongside other innovative solutions developed by eyeSight.

CogniVue and eyeSight will hold a demo at the CES displaying gesture recognition and face detection capabilities. SmartVue is a programmable 1-inch cube camera, which enables a multitude of embedded vision applications executing real-time image processing and scene analysis for markets where size and power matter.

The SmartVue reference module provides developers with a proof-of-concept design to showcase algorithms and applications early in the development cycle, accelerating time to market and reducing risk.
