Automotive Sales Director – Europe

Eyesight is looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Director  to lead and organize the company’s sales processes in the  European automotive market – with European Tier-1s and OEMs. The Sales Director’s role is to meet sales targets and to be responsible for all sales and implementation activities with customers and prospects. The role further includes managing sales procedures and creating new opportunities using existing well-established relationships with European vehicles manufactures. The Sales Director will provide ongoing reports to the company’s management and create internal resources for reaching the company’s global Automotive Sales objectives and timelines.

 

This position reports to the EVP of Global Sales.

 

This position is based in Germany,  or Israel, under the requirement that the  candidate speaks native German and holds the relevant experience in the German Automotive market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Excellent understanding of the automotive industry, markets and products, with clear focus on commercial execution and project management
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in hardcore sales and business development in the Automotive industry with Tier 1 and OEMs in Europe
  • Strong sales management background and connections
  • Technical understanding
  • Willingness to travel frequently - Up to 50% of the time

Requirements:

  • High self-motivation to achieve goals and able to work on his own and to run a dedicated sales and technical team
  • Resourceful; strong problem resolution skills, maneuver between internal company constrains and ability to drive internal company functions to win sales deals
  • Good presentation and written communication skills
  • High level of inter-personal skills in developing relationship with Tier 1 Partners and OEM customers
  • Dedicated and Proactive
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management or any relevant field
  • MBA or Degree in Business administration – an advantage
