Gideon Shmuel
CEO

Gideon joined eyesight with 20 Years of experience in the Telecoms and Enterprise Software markets. Gideon has been involved in growing technology organizations and running and establishing the business activities and operations of several companies across international markets. Most recently Gideon performed the role of VP Sales at cVidya Networks. Prior to that Gideon had a number of executive roles in a number of countries in Olista, Top Image Systems, LCR Telecom and Esprit Telecom.

Itay Katz
Founder & CTO

B.Sc. Electronics Engineering, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology; main subject – signals and image processing. Military service as engineer, involved in developing image processing products among others. Prior to founding eyeSight, Itay worked in Motorola Semiconductors (Freescale) for over 3 years. His role covered a broad range of activities, including implementation and optimization of video encoder and decoder (MPEG4, H.263, H.264) for Motorola DSP (targeted at mobile devices), architecture research and design, advisor to other departments of Motorola in the field of implementation systems on Motorola’s DSP.

Amnon Shenfeld
VP R&D

B.Sc. Computer Science and Bio-Infromatics, with over 14 years of experience in software development and R&D management roles. Before eyeSight, Amnon headed the development of hyper spectral imaging applications for the Earth and Planetary Image Facility (NASA affiliated research laboratory) and before that, held various R&D positions for Check Point Software, where he contributed to the design and implementation of flag-ship products such as FireWall-1.
Expert in software systems architecture, application design, implementation and commercialization on a variety of platforms and eco-systems.

Eli Talmor
Board Member

Eli Talmor is a professor at London Business School and founding Chairman of its Coller Institute of Private Equity. He is a director of European and American corporations and serves on the advisory boards of the African Venture Capital Association and ETV - a leading European venture lender.
Professor Talmor has been frequently invited to deliver keynote speeches to business executives worldwide.
Professor Talmor was previously a professor of finance at the University of California (Irvine and UCLA) and the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). He holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Eran Aharonson
Advisory Board

B.Sc. and M.Sc. graduate of the Computer Sciences department in the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Eran is currently the CEO of Intuitive User Interfaces. Eran held many executive roles, managing research and development, business development and later running various companies. Eran was the CEO of ART, Advanced Recognition Technologies where he also held several R&D and business Development positions and led the process of selling ART to Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN), later Eran joined Compugen (NASDAQ:CGEN), as VP of Research and Development Eran is an advisor to various companies and VCs in the area of Handwriting Recognition, Speech Recognition, Machine Learning and the Mobile Market. Eran has over 25 years of expertise in management, sales and development in the combination of machine learning / mobile industry.

Zvi Katz
Board Member

B.Sc. Electronics Engineer, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. MBA - Boston University (highest grade point average graduating class of 1992).
Zvi was Project leader of the first MINI RPV developed by the Israeli Air Force.
Zvi has over 20 years of managerial experience, and has served as VP of marketing and sales in several Israeli high-tech companies.
